If you are here to learn more about the woman behind this business, there are a few things I should tell you
My clients and friends say that I’m sharp, energetic, positive and genuine.
I talk fast and like to keep the pace up but I don’t rush.
I see the opportunities everywhere, see structure where there is chaos and when s*** hits the fan, I stay calm and get highly focused.
Complainers and narrow minded people I avoid as much as I can. But if I care about you, I will not hesitate to cut through your bullshit excuses and tell the truth or kick your b*** in a loving way.
Taking ownership is my number one rule in life.
I am obsessed with Strategy and love to solve problems. Being resourceful (I once fixed my broken Nokia 8310 with an iron wire).
I love efficiency and effectiveness. If there is a hack, I go for it, but I am also strict on the details when needed.
I don’t like to waste my time on superficial things… or superficial conversations.
Entrepreneurship is fun. Making money is fun!
To me entrepreneurship is fun and freedom.
Whatever the situation, you always have a choice to decide, think or act, that will determine the result you get.
You are your OWN BOSS, aren’t you? So yes, you CAN have a business that works for you that provides you with the time and money you want, but it won’t fall from the sky.
Too many people say they want something, but are just not willing to put in the work or make the decision.
If you truly want something: you find a way or make way.
And making that money is fun! And more money is OKAY (great even!).
To me it just really depends on what you do with it - the more you have, the more you have to give as well.
Some other facts about me
I live in Amsterdam with my husband and now 3 daughters (8, 6, and 4 years old)
Travelling, exploring, and being in nature (with my family) makes me happy! As well as the excitement of rollercoasters!
All my 5 siblings are entrepreneurs, and I grew up in our family business: a Chinese Restaurant. I helped out since I was in primary school.
Growing up in a big family with Chinese background in the Netherlands, and in the restaurant business, made me flexible in my approach and communication with others. I can level well with people from all walks of life.
I am a lifelong learner and my eagerness to learn led me to get certified as a bootcamp instructor once. Personal development and growth are a huge part of my daily life.
I'm very analytic, but being raised in a Chinese family, I am also somewhat spiritual and - what the Western world would call - superstitious. Let’s say I won't do things that are considered to bring bad luck 😉.
And... so much more, of course... but then this page will become an autobiography... so I will save that for another time ;)
