But honestly most people, call me ZJ (‘Zee-Jay’), nowadays, so you can call me that too!!).
As a Business strategist, mentor and coach I help entrepreneurs and small businesses grow a thriving business on their own terms. I help business owners take back charge of their business so they can realise their vision running and growing their business with more focus, ease and joy.
I believe in building an Aligned Business. You business must work for you and provide you with the time and money you want to, not the other way around.
The right business model, growth strategies, the right mindset and support can help you reach exactly that. And luckily, that is what I'm here for and what I love doing.
The past 10+ years I gained expertise and knowledge as a strategy and management consultant, advising numerous businesses (SME to Fortune 500 companies) on their strategy and operations, both in The Netherlands and abroad.
I'm very curious and always on the lookout for how things can be done better, faster or more effectively. I love to find solutions to challenges and literally see opportunities everywhere.

I've been surrounded by entrepreneurs all my life. I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs - literally in and behind the restaurant business of my parents. Over the years my family had several business in hospitality and retail.
I have over a decade of experience as a strategy and management consultant, advising numerous clients ranging from SME to Fortune 500 companies on strategy and operations, in The Netherlands and abroad.
Building trusting relationships with others is very important to me as is the quality I deliver in my work. I have a very curious mindset that is always enthusiastically look for ways to become and do better, to innovate and find solutions to challenges. I am someone who sees opportunities everywhere.

I am passionate about helping others grow personally and in their business too. When working as a consultant I coached, mentored and trained junior consultants helping them develop their skills and competencies. Next to mentoring and coaching my own clients I now also mentor entrepreneurs at Forward Inc. (entrepreneurs with a refugee background) and also use my skills and expertise to give training and workshops on business, strategy, and mindset.
Additionally, I am running a passion project to help working and professional moms live a more fulfilled life by sharing my own personal development journey in finding my purpose and vision for life.
I strive to live a more sustainable and healthy lifestyle, while practicing more minimalism and less/zero waste. This is quite hard I must admit, but making small adjustments everyday helps too! Our world is a precious place and I believe we should try and do our best to keep it that way for future generations.
I am a mom of three daughters age 6,4, and 2 and I live in Amsterdam with my husband.
In my spare time you can find me reading non fiction books, listening to inspiring podcasts, watching interesting documentaries, or learning new skills.
I am a multi-passionate. I got certified as a bootcamp instructor and pregnancy fitness coach after my first pregnancy. I tend to dive in deep. I love riddles..(life) hacks..super hero movies.... sushi.. lattes… a lot more to tell and talk about, but I will save that for another time ;)
The life rule that I live by is: “If you want to be successful, you have to take 100% responsibility for everything that you experience in your life.”
